:pointr: Photographer: Jonas Lindholm
:pointr: what's in the picture: A couple of roses (named Revue)
:pointr: who's in the picture: N/A
:pointr: Inspiration: OWP assignment: Feminine
:pointr: Dedication: N/A
:pointr: Location: my toilet / my bathroom
:pointr: Thoughts: My original idea went shit, so it ended up like this
:pointr: post-works: none whatsoever (except border)

----------

Actully, this was taken during my second attempt to create something with theese roses.
My first attempt ended up with a sad face and no results worth saving whatsoever =/
Third attempt ended up in another of my deviations, "Feminine.." which was submitted for a OWP assignment.

This was a fun shot to take because I was so angry/upset while shooting it...
My first session had involved not a toilet but a beautiful vase, but I like this better ;)
(mostly because I failed to get along with the vase)

uh, ye.. what you see is what you get.
I didnt even touch this one in any post-processing except border.
/me likes this photo for some odd reason

This could be interpreted as conceptual if you'd like.

Eleven favorites and no comments?
Shame on deviantART for not commenting.
I think this is definitely more on the conceptual side.
There are so many ideas behind this. It's mind-boggling.
Your photos, I've noticed, are quite clean-cut. Not very easy to find around here especially with people who have lesser pageviews.
I think this actually might be quite a powerful shot in black and white or if you have used better flowers.
The white border is also distracting. I would have definitely liked this better if I could see a toilet seat or at least if I could see a full curve.
I definitely respect the idea.

The lack of comments is due to the fact that I had a different system for comments when it was first submitted.
I had comments turned off and wanted comments in my journal here [link]
but I've changed that now so thats why you were able to comment in here ;)

Thank you for sharing your point of view rather then just looking then moving on, I appreciate that

hhaha awesome!!!

i actually like the colors, it stands out against the white nicely. the only improvements i would make are a more symetrical composition (in cropping the bowl) and taking out the black line in the border

you used those again after you stuck them in the toilet? O.o
:iconclustered:
hehe its always nice to see a spontaneous reaction ;]

Regarding improvements, yes a more symetrical composition in cropping the bowl could be a nice thing to do... But I'm to lazy to buy new roses,
and I dont like to crop the photo harder just for display here at DA.

nope those were not used again, dont worry :D I had others for the "feminine" shot I took.
